In this project, I was inspired by the Aztec Tribal and its geometric art. I wanted to illustrate its shapes (specifically the triangle and the rectangle shapes) and colors in my CLO3D women's look. I used triangular shapes at the neckline, a detail in the front of the top, the back of the top hem, and the pants waistband. The rectangular shapes are seen in the reattached sleeves, the sleeve's detail, and the pant's sideseams.
The CLO3D look was made from scratch. I created the pattern pieced to achieve the look I am going for. In the look, I learned to use prints in my look, play with the fabric's opacity, add elastic, create gatherings, play with trims, and most importantly make it stay and fit the avatar.
